IMS Policy

The Policy of Asia Ecological Consultants Ltd is to deliver high quality ecological consultancy services to our clients in an environmentally acceptable, inherently safe and sustainable manner, and in order to accomplish our policy, we:

  • Require employees be aware of and to comply with IMS requirements at all times;
  • Provide appropriate training, organise work and define job responsibilities and authority;
  • Commit to continually improve our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety performance, whilst minimising energy consumption, waste generation and preventing pollution;
  • Ensure that quality and environmental objectives and targets are set and reviewed, based on the policy, which are relevant to the nature and extent of the company's consultancy services;
  • Prepare project plans to plan for, coordinate and control project works and materials used;
  • Prepare detailed instructions to ensure that applicable requirements related to quality criteria and environmental aspects are defined, recorded and achieved effectively and efficiently at all times;
  • Provide a healthy, safe and environmentally sustainable workplace for employees and for other persons affected by company activities, including clients, suppliers and subconsultants;
  • Seek to identify, control and mitigate any adverse environmental impacts in the workplace; and
  • Commit to identify and comply with all local environmental legislation and regulations, and with any other applicable requirements to which the company subscribes.

Quality Objectives can be summarised thus:

  • Ensure no warnings are received for any project activity;
  • Ensure no written complaints are received regarding services;
  • Ensure no safety prosecutions occur for any provided service; and
  • Ensure no adverse reports are made by government or any external party.

The Company seeks to further enhance its professional image and achievement of service quality, whilst recognising its social and environmental responsibilities, in order to continually improve upon client satisfaction.

Environmental Objectives can be summarised thus:

  • Ensure waste water discharges from all company activities do not cause water pollution;
  • Ensure chemical consumption, disposal and waste disposal comply with legal requirements;
  • Reduce water, noise, paper and energy consumption to as low as reasonably practicable; and
  • Ensure no environmental prosecutions are raised against the company for any services.

The company seeks to reduce its carbon footprint throughout the delivery of its ecological consultancy services, whilst maintaining its focus on achieving all community needs and social expectations.
