Effective ecological mitigation is a critical component of many development projects. Based on our in-depth knowledge of the ecological requirements of the flora and fauna of the region, AEC is able to design of a wide range of mitigation measures. These include the restoration and enhancement of wetlands, the design of animal underpasses and sensitive design for channelised streams and watercourses. Further, AEC works closely with the project proponent, engineers and contractors in the implementation of such projects. We understand fully the importance of maintaining a close working relationship at this stage of the project and the need to react rapidly and positively to issues as and when they arise.
