In order to improve our capacity to meet client needs and to cater for ongoing expansion of business, AEC has recently enlarged and renovated its office near Yuen Long. We now offer additional services in the form of tree assessment and tree survey, as well as strengthened GIS capacity.

Habitat Restoration and Management |
| One of AEC's key services is the design of wetland habitat to meet statutory requirements as laid out in environmental permits. Currently AEC provides such services to MTRC in respect of wetland mitigation areas associated with the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line and West Rail. |

China in Focus |
In Guangxi AEC is drawing up guidelines regarding the procedures required for effective ecological impact assessment, and providing training and workshops regarding the implementation of these. In Chongqing we are assisting in the formulation of a strategy to protect and enhance wetland areas within a highly developed landscape. Learn more

Project highlights |
Recent new projects include: Planning and Engineering Study on Development of Lok Ma Chau Loop. AEC's preparation of the ecological impact assessment will build on our detailed knowledge of the Deep Bay area ecosystem as well as ongoing inputs to the Closed Area Feasibility Study and the NENT Development Area Planning Study.
